Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

KopiKatts (kopikatts.co.uk) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website and services.

What data we collect

When you register for an account or enter a cat show through our system, we collect personal information including your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and GCCF registration details for you and your cats. We also collect payment information when you pay for show entries, though card details are processed securely by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

How we use your data

We use your information to process show entries, produce show documentation (catalogues, pen labels, vetting-in lists and so on), communicate with you about your entries, and fulfil our obligations to show organisers and the GCCF. Your name and cat details will appear in show catalogues and results, as is standard practice for GCCF shows.

Data sharing

We share your entry information with the relevant show management committee as required to run the show, and with our payment provider to take payment. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we will only share your data with others where required by law or with your explicit consent.

Data retention

We keep your account and entry information for as long as you have an account with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet GCCF and legal record-keeping requirements, after which it is securely deleted.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your preferences and your cookie choice — these are needed for the site to work. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept” on our cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” option, or control cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
